(Update 4/2/10) The 2010 IAFF/WSCFF Jointly Sponsored Educational Seminar will be held April 20-22, 2010, at the Kitsap Conference Center. Registration packets were mailed to every local on February 23, 2010. This year's educational seminar will feature a two-day training for honor guards, as well as a variety of invaluable and informative classes. An MDA class, designed to get locals involved in the IAFF's mission to support MDA, will be available to locals who have not started participation in the MDA program. An opportunity to step onboard the famous (infamous?) USS Turner Joy for breakfast in the galley is offered to the first 125 members who sign up. Don't miss this chance to take in the history of this incredible ship and a bountiful breakfast served by Bremerton's locally-owned Cora's Diner.
