WSCFF Line-of-Duty Death
Captain Craig Aman
It is with great sorrow that the WSCFF and IAFF Local 27 Seattle Fire Fighters announce the line-of-duty death of Captain Craig Aman from kidney cancer on March 14, 2017.
Craig spent his final hours at his home in Eugene, Oregon with his family, including his wife Melissa, daughters Lauren, Jess and Gianna, and son Mike.
The family would like to thank those who shared messages and stories. They are helping to fill a memorial book which Melissa is putting together; please continue to share your thoughts, stories and pictures with her: email@example.com.
Craig joined the Seattle Fire Department in December 1990, serving on Ladder 9 and Ladder 5 before becoming a Paramedic in 1994. In 2010, Craig was promoted to lieutenant and then in 2016 to captain. As a lieutenant, Craig served as the Special Events Coordinator and AMR Liaison at Battalion 3.
