Coral Suhrbier

Coral Suhrbier has been Pension and Case Reserve Manager at the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries since 2020.

As the Pension and Reserve manager, she is responsible for overseeing the team of state fund pension adjudicators as well as the pension benefit and social security offset section.  The adjudicators are responsible for issuing the decision to grant pension, they adjudicate work related fatality claims, presumption, and a number of other specialty claim types. The pension benefit section is responsible for the payment of pension benefits for both State Fund and self-insured claims.

Coral has 18 years of workers’ compensation experience, all with various roles at L&I.
