Jenny McGahan

I started working at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) in April of 2012 as a fundraiser for the state of Montana. I rose through the ranks to be an Executive Director in 2015 and eventually taking a promotion to the Fire Fighter Partnerships team in 2018. With this promotion, I moved from Billings, MT to Seattle, WA in December. I worked out of the regional office and served the 7th and 10th Districts with specialists across the west. In November of 2023, I decided to move back home to Montana and with a teammate taking on the 10th, my responsibilities shifted solely to the 7th District. I have been working with Fire Fighters in Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Alaska – educating, motivating and engaging them in the Fill the Boot program – a 72-year partnership between the MDA and the IAFF, steeped in legacy and tradition!
