Maia Brown
Maia is a dedicated Firefighter Paramedic based in Washington State with a passion for advancing reproductive health in the fire service. After personally navigating the emotional and financial complexities of infertility while serving as a firefighter, she was inspired to create a solution for others facing similar challenges. This led to the founding of The Beltane Guild, a non-profit organization committed to supporting firefighter families through advocacy, education, and financial assistance.
Under Maia’s leadership, The Beltane Guild has grown into a respected national resource for reproductive health research and policy development within the fire service. The organization has also awarded numerous grants to firefighter families across the country, helping to ease the burden of fertility treatments and pregnancy-related care. Maia continues to champion inclusive, evidence-based approaches to reproductive health and remains at the forefront of efforts to create meaningful change in fire service policy and culture.
