Tammy Sadler

Tammy Sadler has been with the LEOFF 2 Board since July 2011 and began her service as Ombuds in June 2014. In this role her primary focus is on providing consultation to members and their families related to duty-related disability and survivor benefits. The Ombuds office utilizes expertise and industry standards to guide and support members as they navigate the complexities of accessing benefits between the time of injury to retirement should that be necessary.

Tammy comes from a law enforcement family and has had a wide range of case management work experience. She is an active member of the International Ombudsman Association, having served in leadership positions, and is also a member of the United States Ombudsman Association. Tammy uses her education, a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in ministry, to serve members comprehensively and with compassion.
