Camano Island Fire and Rescue is currently establishing an eligibility list for experienced firefighters or firefighter paramedics who have one year of experience or less, and for entry-level candidates with no fire experience. Top candidates from the application process will be invited to an oral board interview and placed on an eligibility list. Paramedics must complete an assessment process. The district may choose to hire from the eligibility list for up to one year.
