Michael Newhouse started his fire service career as a resident-volunteer in 1983 at Parkland Fire Department in Pierce County and went on to work at Subase Bangor Fire before spending the remainder of his career with the City of Tacoma where he held positions from Firefighter/Paramedic to Assistant Chief before retiring in 2020.
