IAFF Local 1919 consists of 9 members who are community oriented and dedicated to protecting and serving our communities.

The Professional Firefighters of Spokane County Fire District 9 received its IAFF charter in September of 1983.

The Key Peninsula Professional Firefighters organized in 1988 to become members of the International Association of Firefighters to unite fire fighters-for better wages, improved safety, and greater service for their communities.
