It is with profound sadness that the WSCFF and Yelm Firefighters Local 3628 announce the passing of Firefighter and Local 3628 Treasurer Jeremy McLellan, who died on September 25, surrounded by the love of his family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jeremy served the Yelm community with dedication, courage, and compassion. Throughout his illness, he continued to put others before himself, supporting his family, his fellow firefighters, and his community with remarkable strength. Before joining the fire service, he spent 12 years as a pastor in Nevada and Washington, committed to serving others. He traveled to countries including Thailand, Uganda, Zambia, Hungary, and Mexico to support communities in need. He also served on the Thurston County Peer Support Consortium and remained dedicated to helping others throughout his personal journey.
Please keep Jeremy’s family, friends, and the members of Local 3628 in your thoughts during this difficult time.
