Speaker Bios

Chad Blashill

Chad Blashill began his fire service career as a volunteer in 2008 before being hired by the Kennewick Fire Department and joining Local 1296 Kennewick Firefighters in 2012. Inspired by his father’s union involvement when he was a Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy, Blashill was driven to become more involved in union leadership. A graduate of the IAFF 7th District Executive Leadership Series (Class II), Chad has served as local president since 2021. Blashill was elected WSCFF 10th District Representative in 2024.
