I have been married to my wife Elaine for 15 years who supports this work and all of the time away to do it. We were both raised in Union families and know the difference this work makes in the lives of our members and their families. I have continuously served on the Executive Board of Tukwila Firefighters Local 2088 and now Puget Sound Firefighters Local 1747 since 2014 from Shift Representative, Treasurer, Vice President, and President. I served as President of Local 2088 through the merger of Tukwila FD into Puget Sound RFA in 2023. Local 1747 now has 400 Union members with 4 bargaining units including FF/ Eng/ Cpt, Chiefs, Mechanics, and Social Worker/ Nurses. My day job is a Truck Captain on Ladder 351 in Tukwila on the A Shift.
