Jen Pennington

Founder/Creative Director

Jen is the founder and creative director of The Rhizome Collaborative, a creative and digital agency specializing in impactful content, website development, and technical solutions for socially responsible organizations and eco-friendly businesses and gov agencies. Jen has been working with the State Council since 2015. Since then, her team has been responsible for the design and development for the WSCFF.org, IAFFMERP.org, and IAFFHealthTrust.org websites. Additionally, she helped the WSCFF produce the Power Through Participation videos and provided support during the pandemic, including implementing a COVID tracking system across Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. Jen’s team also developed the Wildfire Roster, ensuring critical information access for command officers. In 2019, she participated in Fire Ops 101, an unforgettable experience that proudly allows her to say that she has indeed walked through fire for her clients. Rhizome is proud to be a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in Washington state.
