     After 20 years working on an Incident Management Team, I have watched our region’s teams constantly operate short staffed and eventually fold.  As we move into the future and the Federal and State resources become scarcer there is an opportunity for us to take a larger role in All Risk/Wildland Fire Incident response. As structural fire fighters we are already prepared for All Risk Assignments better than our wildland centric partners.  After years of heavy participation in the State Mobilization process we have become very proficient in the wildland fire fighting arena also. This Application through the WSCFF website will give us an opportunity to communicate the with each other and fill the needs of the regional incident management teams.
