Adam Lamb, April 25, 2025

It is with tremendous sadness that the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters and IAFF Local 2099 Bothell announce the Line-of-Duty-Death of Adam Lamb, retired, who passed away on April 25, 2025.  

Adam dedicated 26 years of service to the Bothell Fire Department and ended his career as both Lieutenant and Battalion Chief.  He served on the Technical Rescue Team, supporting the Bothell Police Special Response Team, and responded to Ground Zero after 9/11. He was the first officer on scene during the historic Main Street fire and was awarded the Distinguished Unit Medal. 

Known affectionately as “Lambo” and the “Unofficial Mayor of Bothell,” Adam retired on March 14, 2024, due to his illness. He was deeply respected for his dedication, compassion, and the lasting impact he made on those he served with and the community he protected.
