IAFF 7th District Fire Ops 101 will take place in Boise, Idaho from May 8 through May 9, 2025. Fire Ops 101 provides local IAFF affiliates an opportunity to invite elected officials and members of the media to experience the time critical, highly technical, labor intensive work of fire fighters and paramedics. The Derby takes place from June 17 - 19, 2025 in Umatilla, Oregon. Fire fighters from across the IAFF 7th District will for a two-day mix of friendly competition and fundraising for the IAFF 7th District Benevolent Fund. Festivities begin Tuesday evening with a Texas Hold ’em tournament ($20 buy-in), followed by Wednesday’s Fishing Derby: the top three boats with the best five-fish aggregate will take home prizes.
