Start WSCFF Convention week in Wenatchee with this Fathers Day Motorcycle ride. Registration is $60 and includes t-shirt and dinner. Proceeds will go to the IAFF 7th District Benevolent Fund. Find registration and waiver here. Please register by June 12.
IAFF Local 453, Wenatchee Valley will host our 84th Annual Convention June 19 - 21, 2023 at the Wenatchee Convention Center. A call to convention will go out in March 2024 along with hotel information and registration materials. PLEASE NOTE: Convention this year starts on MONDAY and ends on WEDNESDAY. This is a one time change, just for this year.
Per Resolution 18-25, the WSCFF will offer a class, during convention, for spouses/partners that will enhance their understanding of our members’ challenges. This year, Melissa Wainwright, PhD, and wife of WSCFF 9th District Representative Jeff Wainwright, will present Work, Union, and Family Balance. The course will be an open discussion about achieving a balance between the life of the spouse or partner of a union official and protecting time for your family and yourself. Family Night fun for WSCFF Convention Delegates, Alternates, and Guests. Cost is included in convention registration. Taco truck and beverages are included and transportation will be provided. Buses will run from the convention center from 4:30 to 8:30.
WSCFF 85th Annual Convention Golf Invitational, hosted by L452, Vancouver and presented by 1-800-BOARDUP, all proceeds will benefit the Vancouver Firefighters Community Assistance Fund, the WSCFF Burn Foundation, and the Firefighter Cancer Support Network. Spouses who accompany WSCFF members to convention are invited to attend a class that will enhance understanding of our members challenges, followed by a wine tasting class. A night of bowling and family fun for Convention delegates, families and guests. Three hours of bowling at Big Al's, includes shoes, dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, and two drink tickets.
