The 2022 Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial ceremony will honor the 469 fallen members who would have been recognized at the canceled in-person 2020 and 2021 Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial ceremonies. The names were submitted between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020. The ceremony will take place at the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial, located on the corner of Pikes Peak Avenue and Hancock Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Captain Jerry Butterfield, a charter member of IAFF Local 4111, Burlington, is battling cancer. Local 4111 is hosting an event to help Jerry and his family.
