WSCFF Benevolent Fund Scholarships

December 15, 2019 – March 15, 2020
Dependents of WSCFF current and past members are eligible to apply for WSCFF Benevolent Fund scholarships. The scholarships can be used for university, college, and trade school expenses, such as tuition and books.
Applicants must be seniors in high school planning to attend an accredited university, community college, or trade school. The applicant must not have been convicted of any crime resulting in incarceration or probationary sentences.
- Applicants must personally complete the application packet.
- All correspondence and communication about the scholarship application must come from and/or will be directed to the applicant.
The selection committee is comprised of three members of the WSCFF Executive Board and two members at large. Theresa Purtell, District 11 Representative, serves as chair. All appointments will be made by the President.
Applications must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2020.

We congratulate the accomplished students who were awarded a 2019 WSCFF Benevolent Fund Scholarship. Each winner demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, community service and a written essay. In the essay, applicants were asked to discuss: “Right-to-work, its impact on unions and their members, and possible union responses”.
