WSCFF Benevolent Fund Scholarships

The Benevolent Fund Scholarship Committee reviewed applications and awarded $42,000 to 41 children of active or retired WSCFF members. We congratulate these accomplished students. Find a complete list of recipients here.

WSCFF Benevolent Fund Scholarships are awarded annually to dependents of WSCFF members and retirees. Applications are accepted December – March 15. Details and materials will be posted here in December. Applicants must be a senior in high school and planning to attend an accredited university, community college, or trade school. Candidates are scored on their GPA, class load, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and an essay.

Scholarships are funded primarily through the sale of fire fighter special license plates and an annual donation from DiMartino Associates and are awarded by a committee comprised of WSCFF District Representatives and two local members.
