WSCFF Cancer Foundation: What We Do

The WSCFF Cancer Foundation provides compassionate support for fire service members facing cancer diagnosis. From connecting individuals with financial planners, DRS, L&I Ombuds, and behavioral health counselors, to offering practical and emotional support, the Foundation addresses the unique challenges posed by a cancer diagnosis. The Foundation honors Bill Hoover, the co-founder of FCSN-WA who was instrumental not in program development but, as a cancer survivor himself, provided meaningful support to newly diagnosed brothers and sisters.
